Exhibition "Gratitude to the Donors"

About exhibition

The exhibition brings together works that entered the picture gallery over the past decade. The main source of additions to the gallery's collections are major creative projects and exhibitions of authors' solo and group shows. The donations presented come both from distinguished members of the Russian Academy of Arts, including its president Zurab Konstantinovich Tsereteli, academicians (Natella Toidze, Alexander Sitnikov and Olga Bulgakova, Evgeny Romashko, Maria Pereyaslavets, Sergey Andriyaka and others), and from leading painters, graphic artists and masters of monumental art (Dzhanna Tutunjyan, Vladimir Korbakov, Valery Strakhov, Nikolai Mishusta). Among the donors are residents of Russia's capital cities and regions neighboring Vologda Oblast, as well as local inhabitants.
