About exhibition

Get acquainted with the history of Armavir and its inhabitants. The exhibition features clothing, tableware, books and much more. The history of Armavir's founding is shown by items such as Circassian national dress, jewelry, weapons from the period of the Caucasian War, household items of the Circassian-Ga people, photographs and paintings. The rural past is represented by items brought by non-local population to the Kuban: bast shoes (lapti), ritual embroidered towels (rushnyky), tableware, clothing, etc. The story of Armavir's transformation into a city is well illustrated by photographs and objects from public and educational institutions and industrial enterprises.
