Exhibition "Archaeology of the Lower Don and the Seversky Donets"
About exhibition
The exhibition "Archaeology of the Lower Don and the Seversky Donets" brings together evidence of ancient eras and rare historical finds representing the work of archaeologists from different periods. The exhibit features more than 150 items: Paleolithic flint flakes, stone axes, hammers, arrowheads from the 2nd–1st millennia BC, and Bronze Age clay pots. You can also see archaeological finds from the Neolithic, the second half of the 8th–early 10th centuries, and the Bronze Age. An incense burner, beads, rings, and ornamented pots can be classified as objects of ancient decorative and applied arts, which significantly increases their value.
