Exhibition '80 Portraits of the Great Victory'
About exhibition
The exhibition is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War. It uses modern interactive technologies: touch panels, video projections on the walls 'Chronicle 1941–1945' and 'Victory Parade', and interactive kiosks with stories about battles. The core of the exhibition consists of painted canvases and a series of portraits of Heroes of the Soviet Union painted by Dagestani artists Mueddin Dzhemal, Magomed Yunusilau and others. In the display cases visitors can see battle banners, painted canvases, graphic drawings, posters, frontline triangular letters, samples of weapons, as well as military uniforms, awards and documents of Heroes of the Soviet Union who participated in the Great Patriotic War.
