Exhibition "1914–2016"

About exhibition

"1914–2016" is a multimedia exhibition about the history of Russia from the beginning of the 20th century through 2016. The first part of the exhibition examines in detail the key events of early 20th-century Russian history: two world wars, three revolutions, the Civil War, the breaking of centuries-old foundations, mass repressions, and harsh social experiments. The second part of the multimedia exhibition recounts the USSR's postwar development, the reasons for its collapse at the end of the 20th century, and the development of Russia in the early 21st century. Illustrative materials include photographs, documentary chronicles, film and photo documents, and cartographic materials. The project also presents extensive statistical data illustrating one of the most complex periods of the country's history.
