Exhibition "105 Years of Statehood of Udmurtia"
About exhibition
The K. Gerd National Museum of the Udmurt Republic presents a large-scale project. The unique exhibition, which for the first time presents in detail the path of the formation of regional statehood, includes authentic historical documents, memorial items and photographs from the museum's collections. The exhibition explores the theme of the Udmurt people's acquisition of national identity and statehood, from the creation of the Votyak Autonomous Oblast in 1920 to the formation of the modern bodies of government of the Udmurt Republic. Special attention is paid to the role of key figures — I. A. Nagovitsyn and T. K. Borisov, whose memorial items have been gathered together for the first time in a single exhibition space.
