About exhibition
The traveling exhibition presents authentic graphic works by Volzhsky artists Viktor Kiselev and Vyacheslav Burylov. The unique collection of the Volzhsky Museum and Exhibition Complex includes original impressions of these artists' engravings. The works reflect the life of the city, which was built, grew, and developed along with the entire country. Visitors will see works on a variety of themes: industry, the construction of the Volzhskaya Hydroelectric Power Station, the history of the village of Bezrodnoye, transport, space, the heroism of labour, the victory in the Great Patriotic War (World War II), lyrical landscapes, and memorable sites of the hometown. A museum researcher will give a short guided tour about the founding of Volzhsky and its Soviet-period history, and will speak about the art of print graphics.
