Traveling exhibition "Arsenal and the Shield of the Fatherland"
About exhibition
At this exhibition you can learn about the history of the development and the design features of Russian and Soviet small arms of the 20th century. The display will include demilitarized pieces from arsenal storage and restored weapons recovered from the battlefield of the Battle of Stalingrad. You will learn not only the details of how these pieces of military equipment were created by engineers, but also the stories of feats carried out by Russian and Soviet soldiers on the fronts of the two world wars and numerous local conflicts. And most importantly — you will be able to get close to the legends! You will hear many unforgettable stories about engineer Shpagin and sniper Zaitsev, about machine-gunner Nuradilov and the Nagant brothers, developers of revolvers. Alongside a hands-on interactive session on disassembling and assembling a historical weapon, you will have the opportunity to take a free photo and leave with many memorable impressions! Attention! Weapons, even those deactivated and converted into museum exhibits, must never be aimed at a person!
