Temporary exhibitions at the Vrubel Building
About exhibition
Visitors will be able to view all temporary exhibition projects of the Vrubel Building: the exhibition "Valentin Serov." Valentin Serov occupied an important place in Russian culture at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries: he managed to combine several artistic directions and stages of development in his work. The exhibition includes about 50 paintings and graphic works by Serov, which allow visitors to appreciate the breadth of the artist's genre and stylistic range. A versatile master and tireless seeker, he was interested in Impressionism, thoughtfully exploring the character of his models, painted portraits, illustrated books, and created a new pictorial-plastic language for the new era — Art Nouveau; the exhibition "Anufriev, Ivankin, Mashanov, Kuzminykh." The show comprises about 15 paintings by Vadim Ivankin (Novosibirsk) and Konstantin Kuzminykh (Magadan), 15 graphic sheets by Andrey Mashanov (Omsk), as well as ceramic sculptures and art objects by Sergey Anufriev (Krasnoyarsk).
