Tour of the Rynda Cultural and Exhibition Center
About exhibition
A one-of-a-kind project in the Magadan Region that combines local culture and contemporary artistic practices with areas for cultural recreation. The Center presents unique works by Kolyma bone carvers made from mammoth tusk, moose and ram horn, and whale vertebra, as well as archaeological finds — the skull of an ancient bison, a mammoth tooth and tusks, a whale ear, and prehistoric tools. The interactive zone expands knowledge about gold mining, the arts of the indigenous peoples of the North, and fishing, while the prospector's corner gives visitors the chance to try their hand at placer mining. The multimedia hall introduces the history of the Magadan Region from ancient times to the present, immerses visitors in the atmosphere of the sea in calm or stormy conditions, and you can also escape everyday life in video meditation mode. The Rynda Cultural and Exhibition Center is a space of new knowledge and delightful experiences!
