Permanent exhibitions of the Zelenogorsk Museum and Exhibition Center
About exhibition
The Museum and Exhibition Center's collections comprise a variety of objects of material and spiritual culture — from collections of painting, graphics, sculpture and decorative-applied arts to collections of ethnography, technology and natural sciences. The museum's collections reflect the history of the Zelenogorsk area from prehistoric times to the present day and tell about the artistic life of the town, Krasnoyarsk Krai and the country. When you visit the museum, you can see all the exhibitions. You will find nine permanent exhibitions: "Milestones of Ancient History" (archaeology); "The History of Disappeared Villages" (ethnography); "My Little Town Was Born. The First Builders" (Krasnoyarsk-45); "Production Association 'Electrochemical Plant'" (history of the town-forming enterprise — one of the flagships of the USSR's 'nuclear project'); "Let There Be Light!" (history of Krasnoyarsk State District Power Plant-2); "Marvelous Wonder" (collection of decorative and applied arts by V. P. Baranova); "Andrey Pozdeev" (painting); "The Goalkeeper". Oleg Skarainis (sculpture, single-item exhibition); "Golgotha". Andrey Pozdeev (painting, single-item exhibition). Over the course of a year the museum hosts more than 40 projects. The main exhibitions are complemented by thematic shows. The full list of current projects can always be viewed on the museum's website via the link.
