Permanent exhibition "Dreams of Siberia"
About exhibition
From the very first mentions of Siberia, images of this vast territory were formed in people's minds, images that were usually fixed in literature: the Land of the Otherworld, the Terrible Place, the Land of Darkness and Cold, a place of exile and penal servitude, the Promised Land, the Borderless Country, the Goldmine, Belovod'ye. An endless ribbon of myths, heroes and villains runs through the exhibition halls. Before visitors' eyes, images of Siberia shaped over centuries take on contemporary vocabulary and acquire new meanings. The exhibition presents documents, photographs and memorial items that tell about the folklore of the indigenous peoples, the development of Siberian literature and writers born in Siberia. The admission ticket grants access to the permanent displays and temporary exhibitions. The ticket does not include guided tours. Contact phones: +7 (3912) 27-48-30, +7 (3912) 22-48-30.
