Permanent exhibition of the Roerich Museum
About exhibition
The exhibition features paintings by Nicholas and Svyatoslav Roerich, copies of archival documents, works of decorative and applied art — metal sculpture and ritual objects, ancient bronze artworks and ornaments from India, Tibet and China collected by the Roerichs during their expeditions, as well as items from other collections of the State Museum of the Orient. The pavilion at VDNKh also displays an exhibition from the museum's holdings showcasing more than 1,500 exhibits — works of art from the Caucasus and Central Asia, the Far East, Southeast Asia, the Near and Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.
