The exhibition is dedicated to the life and work of Alexey Fedorovich Losev — a Russian philosopher, translator, writer, professor, Doctor of Philological Sciences, and laureate of the USSR State Prize. The A. F. Losev Museum is the first and unique project — a museum of dialogue and philosophical-aesthetic thought. The interactive exhibition allows visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the thinker's creative work. Leafing through the presented elements like pages of a book, you become not just spectators but participants in what unfolds among Losev's colleagues, friends, and loved ones. A. F. Losev (1893–1988), the last philosopher of the Silver Age, witnessed the rise and fall of the Soviet Union. He spent more than forty years of his life in an apartment on the Arbat. Household items, books, manuscripts, and also thoughts... From biography a line is drawn to history, from history to personality, from personality to the spirit of the times, in order to understand how the private life of a man in a black cap became co-equal with an entire epoch in Russian history.
