The museum is a special place where real discoveries are made and where incredible, thrilling journeys into the depths of centuries take place, during which all (or almost all) secrets are revealed. In the center of the Kolomna Kremlin, in a merchant's estate from the second quarter of the 19th century, the history of Kolomna is presented from the earliest times to the beginning of the 20th century through authentic objects from the museum collections. Visitors will be told about the city's history, culture, and everyday life—from its first recorded mention in 1177 to its development into one of the largest industrial and scientific-technical centers of Moscow Oblast.
