Permanent exhibition "Palette Room"
About exhibition
In Pavel Kuznetsov's house there is a memorial artist's room — the "Palette Room." For the first time since the museum's founding, a permanently operating exhibition area has been established within its walls, featuring unique archival materials from the Radishchev Museum's collections: the personal belongings of the artist and his family, documents, photographs, and video. The "Palette Room" is notable for its unconventional presentation of museum objects and a non-linear narrative about the subject, built on both traditional and cutting-edge forms of exhibiting museum material. This allows the house-museum to bring together different target audiences under one roof, having become a true laboratory where the memorial exhibition presents a kind of "palette" of the artist's life, from the vivid strokes of which the visitor will compose the image of the great Russian Symbolist.
