Permanent exhibition "City of Kaspiysk"

The permanent exhibition of the Kaspiysk City Local History Museum introduces visitors to the various periods of the city's life: the founding of the workers' settlement Dvigatelstroy, the construction and operation of the Dagdiesel and Precision Mechanics factories, Kaspiysk during the Great Patriotic War (World War II), the productive labor of the townspeople in the second half of the 20th century, and the present day. The utensils of the first builders, everyday household items of Kaspiysk residents, equipment, musical instruments, photographs and documents, as well as products from the Dagdiesel factory are on display in the museum's main hall. A separate section is devoted to the art and culture of Dagestan, featuring utensils and household items of Dagestanis from the late 19th to the early 20th centuries.
