Permanent exhibition of the M. V. Frunze House‑Museum

About exhibition

The exhibition tells the story of the Civil War of 1918–1920 in Samara, the confrontation on the Eastern Front between the armies of M. V. Frunze and A. V. Kolchak, about the Reds, Whites and Greens, about the anti-Soviet uprising in the rear of the Eastern Front — the chapanna war, about desertion in the Red and White armies and many other chapters of Samara's history. Visitors will also see M. V. Frunze's personal belongings: letters, documents, photographs; his biography and his family's fate are revealed in detail. Also kept here is his plaster death mask. Admission to the exhibition is free for participants of the special military operation and members of their families. To purchase a discounted ticket, a participant of the special military operation or a family member must present a document confirming their entitlement at the museum ticket office.
