Permanent exhibition of the "Artetazh" Center
About exhibition
In the halls of the permanent exhibition of the Artetazh Center for Contemporary Art are works by artists from Primorye and the Russian Far East, such as Alexander Pyrkov with his work "Female Portrait", Vladimir Starovoitov with the piece "Cow's Head", and Austrian artist Mariel Onodera with the painting "Landscape of Memory". The exhibition also features the paintings of Viktor Shlikht, with his extraordinary landscapes in which the Primorye coastline can be discerned. The highlight of the exhibition is Sergey Simakov's painting "Lilith" — one of the first works in the collection of the museum's founder, Alexander Gorodney, which for a long time served as Artetazh's calling card. Today the museum's holdings number over 2,000 items, and the displays in the halls are continually updated.
