Across the Seas, Across the Waves!

At the Mineral Museum, an educational play program "Across the Seas, Across the Waves!" is held for younger schoolchildren. The venue is the "Inhabitants of the Seabed" exhibition, where several grant projects are integrated, combining the museum display and a modern interactive space: illuminated air-bubble columns with backlighting and a mirrored wall set against "Underwater World" photo wallpaper. Located in a hall with dimmed lighting and the sounds of the sea, these features enhance the perception of the museum exhibits — representatives of the waters of the World Ocean — and an interactive floor with active 3D models of Baikal fish: golomyanka, omul, zheltokrylka, Baikal grayling, and Baikal sturgeon. A short guided tour of the "Inhabitants of the Seabed" exhibition will introduce participants to exotic marine creatures — representatives of the planet's salt and fresh waters. In the riddle contest and games, young visitors can demonstrate their knowledge of the marine realm. The logical conclusion of the program is a themed master class "Fish" to create an eco-friendly craft, which each participant takes home as a souvenir. We invite organized children's groups to dive into the extraordinary underwater world.
