Traveling exhibition "Holidays and Rituals of the Kuban Cossacks"

About exhibition

The exhibition introduces traditional Orthodox Christian holidays observed in the Kuban: Christmas, New Year, Epiphany, Easter, Trinity (Pentecost), and the Spas feast days (Honey Spas, Apple Spas, Nut Spas). It presents rituals and family values of the Kuban Cossacks (household items, rushnyk — embroidered ritual towel, tablecloth, clothing, shoulder yoke). A distinctive feature of this exhibition is that it is fully interactive, and some exhibits can be touched by visitors. The exhibition is available to book for any educational institution. Minimum group size – 20 people.
