The traveling exhibition and museum lesson introduce the biography of V. I. Chapayev and provide an overview of weaponry from the late 19th to the early 20th century. The event is aimed at educational institutions. Schoolchildren and students will be presented with a photo exhibition dedicated to the life of the outstanding fellow countryman, the legendary division commander of the Civil War Vasily Ivanovich Chapayev, as well as the history of the military units he helped form. Museum staff will discuss the characteristics of melee (edged) weapons and firearms typical of the First World War and the Civil War.
