Traveling exhibition 'Ancient Past of Kuban'
About exhibition
The exhibition presents the earliest pages of the region's history, from the Stone Age through the Middle Ages. It is of great scientific value and allows visitors to become acquainted with the main stages in the development of the peoples who inhabited the Caucasus over more than five thousand years. Among the most interesting items are vessels from the Early Bronze Age, Greek pottery, terracotta Greek figurines, weapons such as iron swords and spear and arrowheads, and jewelry — bronze bracelets and mirrors, temple rings and finger rings. The exhibition helps spark children's interest in history and archaeology and also fosters patriotic feelings. The traveling exhibition includes display panels and artifacts from the Stone, Bronze, and Iron Ages: stone tools, weapons, jewelry, and pottery.
