Panoramas "Gnezdilovskaya Height" and "Countrymen. The Feat of the Home Front"

About exhibition

The exhibition is a series of historical and cultural complexes illustrating the combat and labor feats of our countrymen during the Great Patriotic War. The displayed monuments make it possible to convey the ferocity of the battles for the capture of Gnezdilovskaya Height during the Great Patriotic War, the soldiers' uniforms and armament, and the fortifications of the Red Army. Life-size female and child figures dressed in peasant costumes of the 1940s, tools and household items help to depict the everyday work of women and children, the elderly and the disabled in agriculture during the war. The combination of unique sets, historical exhibits and modern special effects immerses the visitor in the atmosphere of wartime. The exhibitions' concept is based on the biographies of the residents of the Kupinsky District.
