About exhibition

The exhibition is organized jointly with GAUK MO "State Memorial Museum-Reserve of P.I. Tchaikovsky" (Klin) and is timed to the 185th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian composer. The exhibition material provided by colleagues from the Klin museum tells the story of the musical theatre, where visitors will be able to become acquainted with Tchaikovsky's works. On the panels, presented in chronological order, are ten operas and three ballets created for stage productions. Special attention is paid to the history of the creation and the first productions of the composer's operas and ballets.
