Limpopo Zoo is a unique zoological and botanical complex that is home to more than 270 species of animals, many of which are listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation and are not found in any other zoo in Russia. The animal collection numbers over 1,500 individuals from all corners of the globe. On the grounds of the zoological complex is the unique botanical garden "Amazonia." The botanical garden is an enclosed ecosystem where fish, birds, and plant life live in an artificially recreated natural environment. Alongside the "Amazonia" botanical garden, the complex features the "Night World" exhibit, which showcases nocturnal and crepuscular animals.
