Multimedia exhibition 'Very Good Books and Many Curious Words'
About exhibition
The multimedia exhibition provides an opportunity to present unique museum objects in a new, contemporary light through the use of multimedia equipment: multimedia books, an interactive panel, and multimedia interactive display cases. The exposition allows visitors to glimpse Gorky's world as a reader, to open the pages of the books from his Nizhny Novgorod library, and to immerse themselves in the world of Gorky's works, where modern technologies—sound, video, and animation—help to look at the book anew as an exhibit. The exhibition has been tactfully integrated into the memorial space without disturbing its conventions, bringing a new dimension to a classical museum. The project will introduce a contemporary tone to the classical memorial museum by creating a new exhibition format with multimedia accompaniment that attracts the modern museum visitor to reading and to conversations about Gorky and his native city.
