Multimedia exhibition "Narspi"

About exhibition

On the eve of the 135th anniversary of Konstantin Ivanov, the founder of Chuvash poetry, visitors in Chuvashia's only multimedia hall will see a new "Narspiana" that brings poetry, painting, music and digital technologies into one orbit: 79 works of painting and graphics by 11 classic and contemporary figures of Chuvash art have been "brought to life" thanks to 11 state-of-the-art digital programs. A technology based on neural networks and mathematical functions is being used in Russia for the first time. Konstantin Ivanov's poetic words are heard in the author's native language performed by Honored Artist of the Chuvash Republic Valery Karpov; the Russian translation of the poem is by Petr Khuzangai. Original ethnic music — Chuvash folk songs arranged by composer Ruslan Solovyov — is performed by world-class Russian musicians. A sense of presence with the poem's characters is provided by generative graphics — a technology made available to the people of Chuvashia for the first time. The multimedia exhibition based on Konstantin Ivanov's poem "Narspi" was created by the Raduga Cultural and Exhibition Center with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives as part of the "Parallel Worlds of Poetic Art" project.
