In the year of the 130th anniversary of the founding of the Russian Museum, 11 masterpieces from the collection of the country's first state museum of Russian fine art will come to life on two huge screens before the audience. The multimedia exhibition "The Music of Paintings" was created with the support of the Russian Museum to mark the 10th anniversary of cooperation with the Raduga Cultural and Exhibition Center as part of the project "Russian Museum: Virtual Branch" and has not been shown anywhere before. Visitors will uncover the secrets of polyphony in painting and examine in minute detail iconic canvases by Silver Age Symbolist painters Marc Chagall, Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, Martiros Saryan, Viktor Borisov-Musatov, Nikolai and Vasily Milioti, and Ivan Puni. Guiding viewers into the world of color symbolism and avant-garde forms will be the music of 20th-century composers — Sergei Prokofiev, Edvard Mirzoyan, Artemy Aivazyan, Moisey Vainberg, and Roman Ledenev.
