Mini-exhibition commemorating Kirov sailors
About exhibition
Mini-exhibition is dedicated to commemorating the memory of Kirov sailors V.A. Kolmagorov and G.V. Vasiliev. The informational panels will be a significant addition to the museum's exhibition, which tells the story of naval servicemen of different generations. During years of naval service Vadim Aleksandrovich Kolmagorov (1934–2011) participated in and organized many long voyages and combat deployments, and commissioned new ships for the Russian Navy. Grigory Vasilievich Vasiliev (1892–1943) commanded a submarine formation; during his long service he played an active role in organizing and reestablishing the submarine fleet. The exhibition is included in the permanent exhibition “Weapons of Victory” of the Museum of Military Glory.
