Memorial exhibition of the Scriabin Museum
About exhibition
In Bolshoy Nikolopeskovsky Lane there is one of the rare museums in the world that has preserved the furnishings of an early 20th-century apartment. This is the museum of the great Russian composer of the Silver Age, Alexander Scriabin, opened more than 100 years ago. It is located in an old two-story house where the master lived. The main exhibition of the museum is presented in six rooms: the entrance hall, the study, the living room, the dining room, the children's room and the bedroom. The children's room has not been preserved; today it houses documents dedicated to the life and work of Alexander Scriabin. In the other rooms the interior has remained as the composer saw it while living here. During the tour you can listen to works by Alexander Scriabin in the composer's own recordings. Tickets are available on the website.
