Competition exhibition «Artist of the Year – 2024»

About exhibition

The city competition exhibition “Artist of the Year – 2024” is a landmark cultural event for Naberezhnye Chelny and the region. The exhibition provides an opportunity to identify current trends in the fields of fine and decorative-applied arts and to stimulate the growth of artists’ professional skills. The competition is held based on the results of the past year and is being presented at the art gallery for the twenty-third time. As a result of the selection by the exhibition committee, works by authors in various genres and styles are included in the exposition: painting, graphic art, folk art, sculpture, and decorative-applied art. Works by the best artists that demonstrate a high level of professional skill, an original treatment of theme and subject, and an innovative approach will enter the art gallery’s collections. The exhibition is held with the support of the Department of Culture of the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny and in collaboration with the Naberezhnye Chelny branch of the All‑Russian creative public organization “Union of Artists of Russia”.
