Interactive program «Angarsk — It's Us»

The Minerals Department of the Municipal Budgetary Cultural Institution “City Museum” offers an interactive program “Angarsk — It's Us” for organized groups of young Angarsk residents; its main idea is to foster patriotism and love for their hometown. Participants will be introduced to the history of this city honored with state orders, the specifics of its economic and geographic position, and the development of its industry. Quest elements make getting acquainted with the museum's collection both entertaining and informative. Beautiful—and sometimes unique—druses and individual crystals of semi-precious and ornamental stones from the Urals, Kazakhstan, Transbaikalia, Mongolia, Primorye, Irkutsk Oblast and other regions of the country adorn one of the best mineral collections in Irkutsk Oblast. A virtual tour of the city's sights will remind visitors of the most significant and beloved places in the lives of Angarsk residents.
