Immersive exhibition "Touch. Feel. Preserve."
About exhibition
The project, timed to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, is dedicated to the heroic labor and feats of the Oshtinsky sappers, on whose skill and selflessness the future of the district and its residents depended. The immersive tour is built on a synthesis of history and modern technologies; its main focus is sensory perception. Visitors will be presented with a depiction of the everyday work and heroism of the Oshtinsky sappers, which they can experience with their own hands: hold a sapper's probe, try the process of searching for mines on a specially created model, and see a reconstruction of the dugout where the sappers lived. The sense of presence is achieved through modern multimedia technologies — a video, photo, and sound installation unfolds before the audience. The exhibition features authentic objects and artifacts from the 1940s. There are no long guide monologues or strict museum rules here. The uniqueness of the exhibition is that its guests can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of this difficult and important work and learn what dangers the sappers faced daily. An important part of the exposition consists of items found during search operations at battle sites from the Great Patriotic War. Visits to the exhibition are only conducted as part of organized groups; advance booking is required by phone 75-92-29, and tickets are purchased immediately before the start of the event.
