About exhibition

The hall of our museum, where until recently the old exhibition on the history of Nerchinsk in the 20th century could be seen, has now been converted into an exhibition space. The first temporary exhibition about Sakhalin has already been arranged. On a permanent basis (with only temporary interruptions if display cases are needed for other exhibitions) this hall will also host an exhibition of works by Nerchinsk artist and sculptor, researcher and two-time director of the Nerchinsk Museum, Pavel Vissarionovich Khrustov (1926–1981). It presents his paintings, graphic art, sculpture, mosaics, and designs for monuments, medals, and jubilee and commemorative badges.
