About exhibition

The exhibition is dedicated to residents of Nadym who were killed and those who continue to serve on the territory of Ukraine and Russia during the special military operation. In the exhibition hall, photographs are hung on the wall showing the destroyed Volnovakha. On the other side of the hall there is a mannequin displaying our soldiers' equipment (uniform, load-bearing vest, helmet, tactical gloves, combat boots). Next to the mannequin is a small table with medical supplies for first aid, a soldier's dry ration, and the insignia of the Yamal battalions. A wooden two-tier bunk bed demonstrates the living conditions of the participants of the special military operation. Above the bed hangs a flag — a copy of the Victory Banner that the Yamal participants of the special operation donated to the museum. On the central wall there is a plaque reading "Severyane — Life of a Hero"; under the plaque is a special area where anyone can write letters of support to the soldiers of the Russian army.
