Vladimir Voytenko Photo Exhibition
About exhibition
Vladimir Georgievich Voytenko (1924–2005) was a TASS photojournalist, public figure, one of the founders and the first director of the Russian Museum of Photography. The exhibition features 68 works by the author reflecting the country's life in the 1950s–1990s. Most of the photographs are being shown to the public for the first time: from reportage photographs of all-Union construction projects to candid portraits of celebrities, from chronicles of historical events to simple everyday scenes. The exhibition is thematically divided into several sections: 'Life of a Great Country', 'Legends of the Soviet Era', 'Everyday Life' and 'In the Family Circle'.
