A photo exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Nizhny Novgorod (Gorky) Hydroelectric Power Station. The exhibition features photographs from the museum archive as well as from the family archives of those who took part in the construction. Each frame tells the story of the hydropower builders' feat, the story of the birth of a legend, and the story of new technical solutions that continue to live on and operate today. At the exhibition you will see how people tamed the elements and how the great Russian river, carrying its waters through the centuries, lit a thousand lights in homes and gave life to factories and the town of Zavolzhye.
