The exhibition is dedicated to cinema in Kolyma during the war years and tells the story of the lives and work of Kolyma residents during the Great Patriotic War, who made a significant contribution to the history of the Magadan Region. Visitors will learn how clubs and movie theaters continued to operate for the population in wartime, how people worked on the home front under difficult conditions, risking their lives to reach remote corners of Kolyma by reindeer and dog sleds. The exhibition includes about 40 rare and, in their own way, unique photographs.
