The exhibitions in the Second Building include: the permanent exhibition “Here Is the Russian Spirit,” which consists of three parts: original paintings by the artist K. Vasilyev from the cycle “Rus of the Bylinas,” wooden sculptures by A. Leonardov dedicated to the heroes of fairy tales, bylinas and the everyday life of the Russian village, and a panorama-miniature by A. Tychinin titled “1812,” dedicated to the Patriotic War of 1812; the permanent exhibition “A Walk through Kolomna,” which shows Kolomna “through the eyes of artists.” Visitors can take a tour of the historic part of the city, its key sights and favorite spots without leaving the museum; also presented are temporary exhibitions: “The Man of the Book,” paintings and graphics by the artist-illustrator May Miturich (16 August – 14 September); “Palette of the Golden Pair,” works by Olga Nikolaevna Smirnova (19 September – 02 November); and “But the Memory of Beauty Touches Our Hearts Secretly...,” works of decorative and applied arts by Lyudmila Voronkova (04 September – 28 September).
