Upon arrival, visitors can view temporary exhibitions and permanent displays without a guided tour. The 'Iron City' exhibition introduces visitors to the founders of the Rezh factory and presents interesting facts about the town of Rezh. The 'Rezh Residents in the Great Patriotic War' exhibition acquaints visitors with the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and with personal items belonging to Rezh residents who served at the front. The 'Everyday Life and Trades of the Inhabitants of the Rezhevskaya Volost' exhibition demonstrates the traditional lifestyle of Ural peasants. The 'Journey Through the Native Land' exhibition presents the ancient inhabitants of the Urals and prehistoric mammals. Visitors can see a collection of stones extracted from the heart of the gem-bearing belt, and learn about the wildlife of the central Ural region through taxidermied animals and some bird species.
