You will be able to see all the exhibitions of the famous 17th-century Pogankin Chambers. The exhibition "Treasures of Great Upheavals" presents part of the largest hoard in the history of excavations in Pskov — the 2016 hoard discovered near the museum quarter. The hall of the Pskov Archaeological Society will acquaint visitors with the socio-cultural environment of provincial Pskov in the guberniya period during the last third of the 19th–early 20th century and with the origins of the idea to create a museum. The merchant Pogankin's study occupies a central place in the Chambers' exhibition. In the Pogankin Chambers hall, filled with unique exhibits, visitors can examine the working space of the legendary Pskov merchant. In the permanent exhibition "Painting of Ancient Pskov," everyone will see more than 100 unique and rare icons from the 14th–17th centuries from the museum collection. You can also visit the other halls of the Chambers and themed exhibitions.
