The unified ticket includes admission to the Museum of Wooden Architecture, the Spaso‑Evfimiev Monastery museum complex (excluding the bell tower), and the Kremlin museum complex. The Suzdal Kremlin has been protected since the 10th century by defensive ramparts and the Kamenka River. Wooden walls once stood on the earthen mounds, and access to the interior was through towers with gates. For a long time it was the residence of the Vladimir–Suzdal bishops. In the 18th century the ramparts, worn away by time, were turned into a promenade. From here today there is a stunning view of the Kremlin: the ancient Nativity Cathedral dominates the surrounding area, the low Bishops’ Chambers house a museum collection dedicated to the history of the Kremlin and the land of Suzdal, and nearby the Church of St. Nicholas can be seen — the first exhibit of the Suzdal Museum of Wooden Architecture. In the Museum of Wooden Architecture you can see wooden buildings of the 18th–19th centuries — houses, mills and churches. Visitors who come here are transported to a provincial village and learn about the customary way of life: how well‑to‑do families, merchants and middle peasants lived, and what churches and agricultural buildings looked like. At the Spaso‑Evfimiev Monastery visitors are presented with several museum exhibitions and late 17th‑century paintings in the main monastery cathedral. The unified ticket is valid for one day in accordance with the opening hours of the exhibitions.
