Exhibits of the Museum of Military Glory
About exhibition
The exhibition is built on two components – the front and the rear. Yoshkar-Ola, as a city located far in the rear, became a forge of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as did many other cities in our country. Here, at three large evacuated factories (the Kiev factory '13 Years of October' (now the 'Torgmash' plant), Plant No. 297 (now MMZ) and Plant No. 298 (now ZPP)), defense products were manufactured. The department's exhibition displays examples of shells, military optics and household appliances. Extensive photographic and documentary materials, personal belongings and awards of front-line veterans testify to the heroic and grim times of the great war and to the great feat of the people.
