You will see species listed in the Kostroma Region Red Data Book: the ruff, the European honey buzzard, the Eurasian eagle-owl, the flying squirrel, the hawk owl and many others. Colorful dioramas illustrating various aspects of nature and phenological seasons, together with numerous visual examples, will help you understand the laws of nature and ecological interconnections. You will learn how the region’s feathered and furry inhabitants have adapted to adverse conditions and to competition during the breeding season. You will also become acquainted with the paleontological past of the Kostroma region.
