Victory Museum Exhibitions
About exhibition
The Victory Museum is the country’s main military-historical museum dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. Visitors can see permanent and temporary exhibitions in the Hall of Historical Truth, the Hall of Commanders, the exhibition gallery, the Vladimir Dolgikh Hall, and the 'School Victory Museum' hall. Sculptural groups commemorating participants and victims of the battles are presented in the Hall of Memory and Sorrow and the majestic Hall of Glory. Every hour a 3D installation, 'Road to Victory,' is projected on the dome. The large-scale projection tells the story of the major battles of the Great Patriotic War and the tragedy of the Soviet people. The museum has created a large-scale multimedia exhibition, 'Faces of Victory.' It provides interactive access to the database of the national historical depository — the largest archive of photographs and personal stories of millions of people who fought against Nazism during the Great Patriotic War. Visits to the 'The People's Feat' and 'Battle for Moscow. The First Victory!' exhibitions are possible only with separate tickets as part of guided tour groups.
