The memorial exhibition of the N. A. Dobrolyubov Museum tells the story of the family of provincial priest Alexander Ivanovich Dobrolyubov. Unique books and children’s toys, tableware and clothing introduce the everyday life and interests of Nikolai Dobrolyubov, who spent his childhood and youth in Nizhny Novgorod. The literary exhibition “Cold Mind and a Fervent Heart” presents Nikolai Dobrolyubov’s creative biography, from his first youthful poems to his well-known critical articles devoted to the works of A. N. Ostrovsky, I. A. Goncharov, I. S. Turgenev, and F. M. Dostoevsky. Admission ticket for self-guided viewing of the two exhibitions.
