About exhibition
The museum's main building offers visitors seven permanent exhibitions: works by S. D. Erzia, the "Russian Rodin"; works by F. V. Sychkov, the "artist of joy"; works by I. K. Makarov, academician of portrait painting; Russian art of the 17th–20th centuries; contemporary national art; contemporary fine art of Mordovia; and the decorative and applied arts of Mordovia. In addition, guests can view temporary exhibitions in the temporary exhibition hall and in the museum foyer. For more information call: +7 (8342) 47-80-94. When purchasing a ticket to visit the exhibitions, a visitor may explore all halls of the Erzia Museum independently, except for commercial exhibitions (tickets for those are sold separately).
