The 'Bashnya' Center is, first and foremost, a center of contemporary art; its numerous venues gladly accept works by emerging creators in any artistic field. The main concept of the center is to transmit the traditions of the past through the prism of the present as seen by young people. Already at 'Bashnya' you can see works by creators from Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, the USA and India. Time spent in the center is unlimited; photo and video recording is allowed and even encouraged. The curators of 'Bashnya' will gladly tell you about the features of the exhibitions and explain the specifics of contemporary art.
