Exhibitions of the Local History Museum
About exhibition
The main exhibition of the local history museum is presented in three halls: Hall 'Archaeology, Ethnography and Nature of the Amur Region' (thematically divided into four sections: archaeology, Nanai ethnography, exploration and development of the Amur, nature of the Amur Region). Presentation Hall (introduces visitors to the leaders of the region and the city, its symbols, awards and gifts from guests over the years). Hall 'History of the Construction of the City of Komsomolsk-on-Amur' (visitors can learn about the incredibly difficult conditions in which the city was founded, and how it grew and developed. Numerous interiors help to 'see' everyday life of that time and to compare how people's welfare changed over the years. Documentary and material sources tell about the Great Patriotic War. A special place in the hall is given to exhibition complexes presenting materials on the city's best achievements in various areas of life: industry and transport, architecture and construction, healthcare and social welfare, sporting and cultural life, socio-political life, education, trade, and the development of international relations).
